Old Habits Die Hard
I just got back from work and although I'm sleepy as hell, I've to wait for the clock to ding at 2am because I have to work. Isn't that just insane? It's sick...

To keep myself awak,e I have my iPod blasting in my ears, the TV on in the background and my eyes glued to my laptop as I force myself to write this to stay awake.

My heading has absolutely nothing to do with my 1st paragraph but it seems appropriate anyway because this is really what this entry will be about.

Old habits die hard.

It's ironic how that's actually true. Very recent events in my so-called-life have solidified that saying and etched the reality of it all in my heart. It's funny (or is it sad), that no matter how hard you try to make yourself believe that a chapter of your life is finally over, it suddenly just pops up again to that part in your life when you least expect it and slaps you in the butt.

Old habits die hard. It's sick, it really is.

Well, I for one am not one who backs down on a challenge. That's the scary part. Two can definetely play that game. And I'm the one calling the shots again.

Damn.

Dizzy in 2 Weeks
Well a lot has happened the past 2 weeks. It's surreal. Things I thought I would never think, feel, or do ever again.. Well, let's just leave it at that.

Dizzy in 2 weeks.

Busy as a bee and yet slacking off at the same time.

Yeah, I think I do.. This time anyway.

Busy Busy Bee (Party Preparations Part II)

I've been so busy the past few days, it's just insane! Work-wise, I'm involved in a lot of projects so that's why I haven't really had the time to update this. Geez, I was looking back at my latest post and it never even made sense to me.. Just goes to show really just how busy I've been.

Nonetheless, despite that I was able to get some shopping done for Gavin's birthday party in July and boy am I proud of the things I've accomplished (let me explain in a while)...

A few weeks ago, I made some calls to some of the balloon-party-decorations places around my area. To my dismay, I found that everything was just so damn expensive! The quotations they gave me were just insane! So I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Last week, Peejay and I (straight from our night shift), decided to go and brave the Divisoria Mall and the 168 Mall to look for decorations for Gavin's birthday. It was a great idea because I found absolutely EVERYTHING I needed for his pary - balloons, banners, invitations, loot bags, toys.. oh my gosh I just went insane. The even greater part was that everything was so cheap (and I don't mean reasonable, I mean CHEAP)! It was definetely a good day..

I got his balloons (shimmery and metallic blue and silver ones), his banner, invites, loot bags, and give-aways. It was honestly kind of hard because "Finding Nemo" stuff was hard to find in that area, and I almost decided to go for Elmo because there were a lot of it, but I found Nemo stuff in bits and pieces in some stores anyway. I'm so happy! Now all I have to work out is the food and the place.

I'm set to have it here at home but it's going to be super rainy in July so I might have it out...

We'll see.

Singing In The Rain
I absolutely adore that movie. It's light, it's fun and I absolutely love the music. Come to think of it, they don't make movies like they used to anymore. I used to watch a lot of old movies mainly because my parents were such big fans of the old movies. I grew up watching Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, Doris Day and the like. Rarely will you see movies like those nowadays.

Oh well..
